yeah, in addition to the surcharge on hardbacks, they have also lowered the discount from 30% to 20%. barring the occasional big sale, they have pretty much lost my business.

i was in hastings today browsing through their TPB section and they had a bunch of used stickers on the books. as it turns out, after asking the woman about it, she said they have started dealing in used books. most of the ones i saw were in like new condition and were usually 50% off list. so anyway, ya'll might want to check to see if one is close to you.
